The first day of the Summit is for young mob only - to create, connect and be inspired by Elders, artists and First Nations practitioners at Footscray Community Arts (ages 13-24) in the summer of 2024.

The first day will feature workshops in cultural practices, art and design, performance artforms including drama, dance, rap and spoken word. The Summit program will utilise indoor and outdoor spaces on the Maribyrnong River.

The second day is open to everyone and is a festival of First Nations music, dance and other artforms with strong representation of young mob from across the state as performers, and community conversations with Elders.

An extended period of outreach to young mob in regional and metro settings will take place in the 12 months before the Summit to build relationships and support participation in the event. Transport and accommodation will be provided to young mob from across the state to attend.
